About us
About Nova Credit Loans
We run a free online matching service that connects people who need $500 to $5,000 with lenders in our network. We are not a lender, and lenders make every credit decision.
Who We Are
We are a small Phoenix-based company that operates an online connector service. One short request form lets a borrower reach several lenders at once instead of filling out the same application on site after site.
People who search nova credit usually arrive with a specific bill in hand: a $1,400 transmission repair, a $900 refrigerator compressor, or a few credit card balances they want to fold into one payment. Our job is to make the first step of finding a lender faster and clearer. The request form takes about five minutes, and so far about 14,000 borrowers have used it.
We do not hold deposits, issue loans or service accounts. Once a lender makes you an offer, your relationship is with that lender, under its own agreement and disclosures.
Our Mission

Our mission is to help people compare small-dollar personal loan offers honestly, with plain-language explanations of cost, so they can pick the offer that fits their budget or decide that borrowing is not the right move.
That means showing the full picture, not just the monthly payment. A $2,000 loan over 12 months at 24.99% APR, with no origination fee, costs about $190.08 per month and about $280.94 in total interest under our representative example. A longer term lowers the payment but raises the total cost, and we say so openly.
How Our Connector Model Works
Our service sits between you and a network of independent lenders. You submit one request, we pass it to lenders whose criteria may fit, and any lender that wants to work with you presents its own offer, terms and disclosures.
- You share basic details such as the amount, purpose, income and contact information.
- We route that request to lenders in our network and show you any responses.
- Lenders review your request, check credit, and decide whether to make an offer, at what APR and for what term.
Using the form is free, and you are never obligated to accept an offer. We do not set nova credit rates; each lender prices its own loans based on credit, income, state law and other factors. The step-by-step version is on our how it works page.
How We Make Money
We earn compensation from lenders and marketing partners in our network, not from borrowers. You pay nothing to submit a request, compare offers or decline every offer you receive.
Partners may pay us when they receive a request, when you click through to an offer, or when a loan is funded. That compensation can influence which offers appear and in what order, although it never changes the terms a lender quotes you. Our full advertiser and lending disclosure explains these relationships in more detail. We think you deserve to know how a free service pays its bills before you share any information with it.
Our Editorial Standards
Every guide, calculator and rate page on this site is written to help readers make a decision, and partner compensation does not decide what we write or recommend.
Our writers cover consumer credit, household repair costs and small business finance. Before publishing, we check figures against our payment tables, label every rate, payment or timing figure as an estimate, and avoid promises about approval. When a lower-cost option such as a credit union loan, a payment plan with a repair shop, or a hardship program with a card issuer might serve a reader better, we say so in the article.
We also update pages when lender practices or common cost ranges change. If you find something that looks wrong, the contact page lists the fastest ways to reach us, and corrections are reviewed by an editor.
Why Phoenix
Phoenix is home because the city reflects the borrowers we serve: working households, gig workers and small business owners who handle unplanned costs without a large savings cushion.
Summer heat makes the point clearly. When an AC compressor fails in July, a repair bill of about $1,500 to $3,000 is not something a family can wait a month to pay. Living with those emergencies shapes how we write about them. Our support team keeps Arizona hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, and answers questions from borrowers in every state where lenders in our network operate.
What Borrowers Say About Our Service
Borrowers who rated our service gave it an average of 4.7 out of 5 across 1,547 ratings, most often mentioning a short form and clear explanations of cost.
Ratings describe the matching experience, not any lender's loan terms. Offers, approval and funding times vary by lender and by state, and some requests do not receive an offer. Readers comparing nova credits options can review 26 lenders side by side on our Compare Lenders page before submitting anything.
